A Vietnamese town manufactured thousands of red bricks and ceramics by hand.
Footage shows the factories and warehouses lining a river in Vinh Long province where the clay products are being made.
The bricks and ceramics are being used to adorn homes, parks, and temples locally and are being exported to other countries.
The area has also been developed for tourism so visitors can experience the unique trade in the province.
Before, the province had almost 3,000 kilns operating until 2010, when the villages faced difficulties due to high production costs, low output, and environmental requirements, causing them to downsize.
Local projects that aimed to boost production helped the crafters to bounce back in the industry, and since 2016, the facilities received more investors and attracted customers.
Nguyen Van Buoi, owner of the Tan Hiep Phat brick and tile production facility in Mang Thit district, said: 'We want to develop the pottery profession and bring tourism here. Vinh Long is a ceramic kingdom.
'I built a red brick house, and it took me 20 years to finish it using our local product. The visitors will surely love it.'
Doan Thi Ngoc Diep, president of Vinh Long Province Ceramic Tile Association, said: 'We have built a place for tourists to visit, a place for visitors to experience making ceramic bricks.
'We have furnaces they could use, even old ones they could watch. There are furnaces with available river yards where there was a beautiful sightseeing spot on the Mang Thit river routes and along Thay Cai canal.'
Phan Van Giau, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province, said: 'We still have over 600 brick kilns which we still use to earn a living.
'The most difficult thing is how to shape this area to become a tourist highlight, create a new momentum for Vinh Long tourism, and bring its own characteristics that other provinces and cities do not have.'
