Fire hits Chinatown area of Bangkok, Thailand

Firemen battled a blaze that ripped through homes in the Chinatown area of Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday.
The inferno started in a shophouse at around 10:30 pm local time before spreading to neighboring buildings along the popular tourist destination Yaowarat Road.
Two rescue team volunteers were injured from an electric shock while tackling the inferno. Several others were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Officials said that 11 fire trucks were deployed and brought the fire under control after three hours. They are now investigating the cause.
