Zoo tapir predicts Spain will beat England in Euro 2024 final

A Brazilian tapir has predicted that Spain will triumph over England in the Euro 2024 final.

The 21 -year-old animal named Nong Kao Klong made the prediction at the Chiang Mai Night Safari in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Footage shows how pieces of fruit and leaves - the creature's favorite snacks - were attached to goal posts adorned with the flags of both countries. 

The tapir eventually approached the goal post featuring the Spanish flag and ate the jackfruit and other piece of fruit, indicating its prediction that Spain will emerge as the champion.

The event was attended by Kritsada Lapimon, deputy director of Pinkanakorn Development Agency (Public Organisation), along with organisation and zoo executives.
