Raging floods swept through homes in a village in northeast Thailand.
Footage shows floodwaters gushing across streets amid heavy rain in Phayao province on July 18.
Runoff from higher areas flowed into low-lying Na Bua village in the morning, causing damage to houses and farms.
Local authorities were surveying the extent of the damage.
The Thailand Meteorological Department had forecasted thunderstorms and heavy rain to fall across northern Thailand, including Phayao.
Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are in their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms in the afternoon leading to widespread flash floods.
