Residential building collapses killing three and injuring one in China

This is the terrifying moment a residential building collapsed killing three and injuring one in southern China.

CCTV footage shows an explosion ripping through the ground floor of the two-storey building in the Doumen district of Guangdong province, causing it to crumble to the ground on August 6.

Volunteers were seen rushing to the site of the blast to try digging up any survivors as police cordoned off the area.

Local media reported that three people died after they were trapped under debris, while another was rescued alive by responders.

Initial findings showed that a gas explosion may have caused the collapse. Authorities were investigating the exact cause of the incident.
