Police arrested a tourist who allegedly stole a motorcycle parked outside a guesthouse in Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the man, believed to be in his 20s, in a green tank top and Muay Thai boxing pants, entering the unguarded lodging and rifling through the reception desk in Krabi, Thailand, early morning on August 15.
He took the keys to the Honda Spacy motorcycle, and was seen mounting it and riding away.
The vehicle's owner, Maliwan Tonprom, 43, said she filed a report at the Ao Nang Police Station after finding her two-wheeler missing when she returned.
She said: 'There were no employees at the guesthouse counter, but the door was left unlocked for guests to come and go. In the morning, I went to work as usual, but my motorcycle, which is usually parked outside, was nowhere to be found.'
She then checked the security cameras and found it had reportedly been stolen by the tourist.
Maliwan continued: 'If it were a local, I would understand, but I had never seen a tourist commit such a crime here before. I plan to press charges against him so he learns his lesson. It is unacceptable for someone to travel abroad and engage in such behaviour.'
In a later update, Maliwan said the culprit had been caught and was detained at the Ao Nang Police Station.
