A runway shattered into a pieces when a plane was landing at an airport in Indonesia.
CCTV footage shows the Airbus A320 seconds after it had touched down as part of the surface broke and shot skywards at the Domine Eduard Osok (DEO) Airport in Sorong on August 11.
Low-cost carrier Pelita Air said no passengers were injured in the incident.
Airport boss Cece Tarya added: 'The airport did experience operational disruptions on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 8:30 am due to damage to the runway. But at 2:30 pm, the airport resumed normal operations.
'We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this operational disruption. We regret the runway damage incident at DEO Airport.
'Considering the damage that occurred, several repair and evaluation steps were carried out. All overlay work that has been done yesterday will be dismantled again to ensure the quality of repairs and prevent similar damage.'
The runway was reportedly damaged due to ongoing resurfacing work being carried out amid continuous rains.
