A lorry overturned and caught fire along a highway in Malaysia.
Footage shows the vehicle lying on its side, with a puddle of fuel leaking onto the road near the Jalan Duta toll plaza in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, on August 13. A red trailer was stopped in the emergency lane, but it was unclear if it was involved in the accident.
Passing cars driving over the hot pavement ignited the fuel, which eventually spread to the lorry.
A City Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said officers received a report at 12:03 pm.
He said: 'A team of nine firemen led by operation commander Mohd Rosdi Yussof arrived at the scene at 12.12pm equipped with a water tanker.
'Upon arriving at the scene, the team saw the front portion of the trailer on fire and started dousing it.'
The fire was extinguished at 1:48 pm.
The lorry driver, believed to be in his 30s, was not named. He suffered injuries on his head and hand, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
