Flash floods swamped hundreds of homes as heavy rain lashed a village in northern Thailand.
Footage shows the deluge submerging streets in Phayao province early morning on August 21.
Authorities said more than 400 houses were flooded, and small vehicles were unable to drive through the high waters.
Residents said they were unable to evacuate in time as the floods struck in the early hours.
Police and local officials were providing disaster relief to the affected villagers.
The Thai Meteorological Department forecasted heavy rains across Thailand due to the monsoon season.
Residents in low-lying areas were urged to prepare for flash floods.
Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are in their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms in the afternoon leading to widespread flash floods.
