This is the gruesome moment a huge python regurgitated an entire chicken it devoured from a farm.
Footage shows the 14ft beast spitting out the dead rooster that it pounced on and killed in Sa Kaeo province, Thailand, on August 21.
Boontham Anusit, head of the local snake catching unit, said: 'The farm owner is a Cambodian man who has been raising gamecocks in Thailand for several years.
'He said he noticed that his chickens had been disappearing every day. He called us when almost half of his livestock had vanished, saying he suspected a python was lurking on the premises.'
The reptile catchers searched the farm and found the bulging snake at the bottom of a well.
They pulled the creature up, but before they could place it inside a sack, it started regurgitating its last meal - a slime-covered rooster it had killed earlier.
Boontham said: 'A snake this size could eat a whole chicken, a dog, or even a small child. It's dangerous, so we plan to take it far away and release it into a remote forest.'
The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
