A school auditorium ceiling collapsed leaving four pupils and teachers injured in Thailand.
The roof of the hall gave way during a meeting following heavy rain in Yasothon on August 29.
The incident occurred while the hall at the Kham Khuean Kaeo District Office was being used by teachers and schoolchildren for helding their exhibitions for educational institutions evaluation, which was also attended by the district chief, educational committee, and institute executives.
Four teachers and students sustained minor injuries, including head wounds and dust in their eyes.
Officials believe that a combination of recent downpours and debris that had accumulated on the outside of the roof had cause dit to collapse.
The district office has requested funding for repairs but is still awaiting approval.
