Police arrested 12 swingers who are no facing up to 16 months in prison for holding a sex party in hardline Indonesia.
Officers raided the villa in Batu City in East Java, where the married couples were said to be engaged in an orgy on September 21.
The raid came after the kinky spouses had allegedly used the Telegram app to advertise entry fees for the gathering.
AKBP Suryono, Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation of the East Java Regional Police, said in an October 1 press conference that the alleged swingers were naked in the middle of several threesomes when officers arrived.
He said: 'We secured them in one of the villas in Pesanggrahan Batu on Saturday September 21. They had used a Telegram group and rented a villa. When we arrested them, they were all naked and swapping partners.'
He said each person had to pay 825,000 IDR (40 GBP) to join. All of them were found to be from different cities across East Java.
A man, identified by police only by the initials 'SM', 31, from Malang City, was reportedly the organiser.
The cops said they also seized five bras, 12 pairs of underwear, a cellphone, five bottles of liquor, a bedsheet, and several condoms and used tissues.
SM will reportedly be charged for violating Article 296 of the Indonesian Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to one year and four months in prison or a maximum fine of 1,000 IDR.
