A kind bus driver helped a runaway toddler he found wandering along a road in Thailand.
Somchai Chayalak was riding his motorbike home from work at the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority when he noticed the youngster running alone on one lane of Phraeksa Road in Samut Prakan province in the early hours of October 2.
The girl was described as being well-dressed with neat shoes.
Fearing she would walk into traffic, Somchai picked her up and called the police to find her parents.
Video shows the terrified toddler covering her ears while crying as Somchai cradled her in his arms.
A shirtless man claiming to be her father later arrived to fetch her.
He said he had accidentally left their door open, and the child had wandered outside to go to a convenience store they frequented around 0.3 miles away.
The father said: 'At first, I thought that my daughter went downstairs to find her mother. When I went down to check, she was nowhere to be found. I went running outside to look for her.'
The girl was safely returned home without any injuries.
