A Japanese porn star screamed so loud during a video shoot that her neighbours feared their was a real-life attack was happening and called the police.
Megu Fujiura, 35, known by her stage name 'Meguri', said she had been recording a group sex scene at her apartment in Tokyo, Japan.
However, the busty actress claimed she was too engrossed in her role that she did not realise how much noise she was making.
She said her high-pitched cries for help - part of the plot to escape from the men - were heard by terrified residents, who then called the police fearing a gruesome crime was happening in the neighbourhood.
Speaking this month while reflecting on her career, the AV star said: 'This incident happened in 2012. During filming, I played a female prison guard who was being gang raped by a group of male inmates.
'I worked professionally and felt connected to the role, so I acted it out to the fullest. I screamed for help loudly, according to the role.
'But I probably screamed too realistically, so the neighbors misunderstood and thought that a rape was really happening, so they called the police to come and investigate the set.'
When police arrived, an embarrassed Megu explained that she was simply roleplaying for her job.
She added: 'The incident ended well when we were able to explain to the police that it was just a movie shoot. The police then gave us words of encouragement before they left. They told us to continue working hard.'
Meguri first broke out into the porn industry after working as a gravure model in 2007. She has since retired from filming porn and now works as an influencer and vlogger.
Japanese walls are notoriously thin because they are made from materials like wood and paper to promote flexibility and airflow in the country's humid climate. The lightweight construction is also considered pratical as Japan sits in the Pacific Ring of Fire and is prone to earthquakes.
