A heavily tattooed Australian tourist caused a disturbance as he wandered the streets of Bali in only his underwear.
Mark Paul Barry, 54, was reportedly kicked out of his hotel along Kuta Beach for frightening other guests and causing chaos inside the premises.
He was said to have roamed around the area in just a pair of boxer briefs, accosting drivers, screaming unprovoked, and scaring the residents with his head-to-toe tattoos, before he was detained by police on October 10.
The shaven-headed Aussie 'bogan' was taken to the Prof. Ngoerah Hospital in Denpasar for a check-up - and a warning from cops on the holiday island who are fed-up with misbehaving Aussies.
Wayan Suantara, commander of the Badung municipal police unit, said on October 10: 'Yesterday, the man went viral on social media. He was walking around the Legian area without a shirt and only wearing shorts. He was reported to be very drunk and stopped several motorcyclists on the road. Kuta Police took him back to his hotel.
'At around 11:30 am today, we received the same report again so we decided to secure him.'
He added that police and hospital staff were co-ordinating with the Australian consulate and Bali Immigration to determine the next steps.
Authorities said Barry was 'difficult to communicate with and refused to calm down'. He was found to have travelled alone to Bali, Indonesia, on vacation.
The Aussie reportedly had a laundry list of criminal activities back in his home country.
Australian newspaper The Courier-Mail reported that he had last year pleaded guilty to stalking, domestic violence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, fraud, breaching bail, and more domestic violence cases over six months.
While behind bars, he also allegedly ordered a hit on a rival over a property dispute.
