Artist makes model trucks and planes from used beer cans

A Vietnamese artist makes awesome model trucks and planes out of used beer cans.

Ma Tan Phat, 63, fashions the DIY mini vehicles at his home in Can Tho city in southern Vietnam.

Footage shows the craftsman's colourful collection of homemade mini aircrafts and trucks, complete with tiny propellers.

Ma Tan Phat said he has been making the model toys for more than 30 years, and began creating a variety of designs to cater to his customers.

He said: 'I encountered many difficulties and failures, but I perservered and eventually succeeded. For me, joy is seeing my children become good people, and seeing my customers' satisfaction with my products.'
