Animal rescuers saved a hapless dog dangling from window grilles in Thailand.
The male mixed-breed dog, Chao Ngern, tried to follow his owner, Aum, by jumping out of the open window, but his legs were caught on the window grilles at his home in Samut Prakan province on July 3.
Aum, who often checks on Chao Ngern when she is out on errands, opened her CCTV monitoring app and found her beloved pet crying as he hung from the narrow gap.
She called a friend in her neighbourhood, who then notified animal rescuers for help.
Video shows the panting Chao Ngern crying as he used his front paws trying to stand on the blood-smeared house wall.
Officers from the Bangbo Subdistrict Municipality later arrived to free him and give him first aid.
Chao Ngern was taken to a veterinarian for further treatment.
Fur mum Aum said: 'I went out to run some errands and locked Ngern in the house. Normally, he would just stay inside and lie around, except when he hears a loud noise and would try to run away.
'While I was outside, I checked the CCTV nd was shocked to find Ngern stuck in the iron bars. So I quickly called a motorcycle rider I know to go and help him.'
